Go. See. It.
It's the first movie I've seen this year that makes me not-so-secretly grumpy, wishing I had written it.
It's smart. It's INTENSE. It's quick, fun, terrifying and true.
It doesn't get all sentimental and caught up in insignificant backstories. Do we need to know the minute details of the hostages' lives? No. So the movie doesn't give them to us.
It just tells the story.
Very, very well.
Also, yay for Canada. (And Victor Garber.)
Ben Affleck makes good movies. Who woulda thunk it?
